The Mammoth Book of Sex, Drugs Rock 'N' Roll edited by Jim Driver (Carroll Graf Publishers ) (). I liked this book a bunch! The editors delivered a collection of muck equal to the titillating title. Parts of it drove me crazy though. The title is misleading, as the book is NOT about Sex and drugs and rock and roll. It is more about the history of rock and roll, as told by a motley crue of journalists. Sure, it does involve some sex and drugs, but that is more incidental. The book is over pages, but more than half the articles shouldn't be in it anyway. Plus, this book covers all the various genres from pop to punk, for the last plus years.
